In 2013, WellDoc launched their first FDA approved mobile prescription therapy for type 2 diabetes, BlueStar RX.
WellDoc turned to Guidea to drive UX research and innovation for this new product and simultaneously build out Design Operations for their organization.


To generate alignment for this organizational change, activity-based, hands-on workshops were conducted with WellDoc teams including executives, clinicians, engineers, data analytics, marketing, and designers to validate and pilot new UX processes and tools.

In 2018, Samsung launched the Diabetes Wellness Program, powered by Welldoc. The base of the experience is the BlueStar consumer application which we researched and designed, and which was extended by the WellDoc team to match the Samsung brand experience.
This program is now available to all 100 million Samsung Health users.
